A couple nights ago, it seemed like i had been dreaming for hours and interacting with particular scenarios. The morning dawned and upon awakening, a heavenly messenger announced, “I am releasing the 1947 Deliveries Act.” I was so stunned and perplexed with this announcement that I bolted up out of my bed and waited upon the Lord for interpretation.
The Lord said, “I am releasing the 1947 Deliveries Act.”
1. On Nov. 29, 1947, the United Nations General Assembly passed a resolution calling for Palestine to be partitioned between Arabs and Jews, allowing for the formation of the Jewish state of Israel.
2. In 1947 and 1948 there were four blood moons associated with the formation of Israel as a nation.
3. 1947 Healing Movement – This was a time of deep spiritual hunger among Pentecostals who were concerned with the declining operation of the gifts of the Spirit once so evident in the early 20th century. Heaven heard the cries of the people’s hunger and God answered with a mighty move of His Spirit that birthed the movement we read about in the periodical called, ‘The Voice of Healing.’
The Partition Plan in 1947 that established the boundaries for the Jewish people lead to the creation of a Sovereign Jewish state and a nation was born in a day. In the same year, a movement known as the ‘healing revival,’ swept across the nation and the nations of the world as a bona fide move of God with signs and wonders following.
“Before she goes into labor, she gives birth;
before the pains come upon her, she delivers a son.
8 Who has ever heard of such things?
Who has ever seen things like this?
Can a country be born in a day
or a nation be brought forth in a moment?
Yet no sooner is Zion in labor
than she gives birth to her children.
9 Do I bring to the moment of birth
and not give delivery?” says the Lord.
“Do I close up the womb
when I bring to delivery?” says your God.
The Healing Revival of the mid 1940’s to late 1950’s was an incredibly far reaching movement. Incredible amounts of independent evangelists and ministers filled huge auditoriums and massive tents. It made it possible to help countless hundreds of thousands be saved, healed and delivered by the power of Jesus. The key leaders featured in the Voice of Healing Magazine were Oral Roberts, Jack Coe, A. A. Allen, William Branham, T. L. Osborn, Raymond T. Richey, W. V. Grant, plus many other less prominent ministers. Also in 1947, Smith Wigglesworth gave one of his last exhortations to the church before he passed away March 12, 1947. (Voice of Healing info)
WORD AND SPIRIT
When the new church phase is on the wane, there will be evidenced in the churches something that has not been seen before: a coming together of those with an emphasis on the Word and those with an emphasis on the Spirit.
When the Word and the Spirit come together, there will be the biggest movement of the Holy Spirit that the nation, and indeed the world, has ever seen. It will mark the beginning of a revival that will eclipse anything that has been witnessed within these shores, even the Wesleyan and the Welsh revivals of former years. The outpouring of God’s Spirit will flow over from the UK to the mainland of Europe, and from there will begin a missionary move to the ends of the earth.
The saints that have gone before us have left us a godly heritage to run the race with patient endurance to press on toward the mark for the prize of the ‘high calling’ of Christ Jesus and we must now carry the mandate to recover and restore the lost inheritance. The Jewish people for generations have observed and studied the prophetic implications of the restoration of Israel. In Amos 9:14-15, the prophet said that there would come a time when the exiles of Israel would again have Israel as their own land and that they would never be uprooted again. The spiritual precedence for the Jewish people to return to their homeland, motivated by divine intervention appeared in the book of Exodus as Moses went down to Pharaoh, demanding him to ‘let my people go.’ We are now entering a unique time in history that will determine the course of a nation and the preservation of a people whose God is the Lord.
In the book of Ruth 1:16-17, Naomi urged her two daughter-in-laws to go back to Judah and she would return to Bethlehem, due to the death of her sons. Ruth bound herself to Naomi and would not leave her. 16 But Ruth replied, “Don’t urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God. 17 Where you die I will die, and there I will be buried. May the Lord deal with me, be it ever so severely, if even death separates you and me.” Ruth is a picture of God’s people standing beside Israel, declaring our allegiance and devotion to the God of our forefathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. We as believers are grafted in among them and have become partakers with them sharing in the nourishment of the rich root of the olive tree. Our acknowledgement of those who have gone before us to prepare the way will garner the propitious smiles of heaven ordained for the saints and usher in the greatest harvest the world has even witnessed.
I believe there is an announcement that is being heralded in the earth today and has been established in heaven and what happened in 1947 was a foretaste and precursor to what God desires to release today. The sound of His voice is being broadcast in the land and the Spirit and the bride say, Come!
