What does it mean to have a constitutional crisis? To set up or establish something for the well-being of a people and society, but reject the fundamental principles of how to achieve an upright constitutional standard by projecting an inflated ideology of enormous proportions.
The Titanic was a perfect example of an inflated projection… They built the ship as a monument to the prowess of innovative technology and the advancement of forward progress to set sail on a voyage that would prove the demise of what was thought to be unsinkable. Warnings were relayed to the Captain and crew, regarding the ice flows directly ahead, but the warnings were not heeded and the Titanic proceeded full speed ahead to their doom.
Could this have been averted? Absolutely… A warning relays a cautionary measure that considers the road ahead and makes a decision based upon that advice. Would this be considered a crisis? Well, lets look at the definition of a crisis… “a situation or period in which things are very uncertain, difficult, or painful, especially a time when action must be taken to avoid complete disaster or breakdown. A decisive moment or a time to decide.”
So was this a breakdown in communication or the failure to heed the warning that was given in order to avert disaster? This is not a matter of blame, but of responsibility. . . We, as a people, have been given the ability to respond and when we override that ability with silence, we are certainly destined to repeat history again.
Our history tells the tale of the rise and fall of many nations and how we can avoid, or at least lessen the impact, by giving heed to the wise warnings of our forefathers and return to the place where we last missed it. Jeremiah 6:16 says, “Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. But you said, ‘We will not walk in it.’ Now our children are reprimanded for speaking the name of God in a holy fashion; but if a child takes His name in vain, it is allowed. Do I not have the right and privilege to teach my child how this country was formed, as one nation under God? Can I change history and the original intentions that this country was founded upon, allowing the self-evident truth to become a lie? Shall I dictate the truth based upon my own relativity?
The Constitutional standard that established this nation and set a people apart as ‘One nation, under God, indivisible (undivided), with liberty and justice for all,’ is rejected and considered to be relative to a consensus, then the Republic as we know it, begins to break down and erode the ground by which we stand.
A nation at the brink of disaster will be a nation that measured themselves against themselves and made relativity the call of the day, only to reject the standard that made this nation great. It is time to come back to the standard, even at the peril of great protest by the people, so as to save this nation from great disaster and restore a people back to our right foundations again.
